USE AND CARE

• Fully extend the appliance's supply cord before each use.

• Do not use the appliance if the tray is not properly tted

underneath the heating element.

• Do not use the appliance if its accessories are not

properly tted.

• Do not use the appliance if any of the attached

accessories are defective. Replace them immediately.

• Do not use the appliance if it is empty.

• Do not move or transport the appliance while in use.

• Do not use the appliance if it is tipped up and do not turn

it over.

• Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or

connected to the mains.

• Do not force the appliance’s work capacity.

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains when not in use

and before undertaking any cleaning task.

• Do not store the appliance if it is still hot.

• Keep the appliance in good condition. Check that the

moving parts are not misaligned or jammed and make

sure there are no broken parts or anomalies that may

prevent the appliance from operating correctly.

• Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.

• Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if

is not in use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of

the appliance.

• CAUTION: User can’t sleep when appliance is under use;

there is a risk of injuries.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

BEFORE USE

• Make sure that all product’s packaging has been

removed.

• Please read carefully the “Safety advice and warnings”

booklet before rst use

• Before using this product for the rst time, it is advisable

to test it without bread.

• Before using the product for the rst time, clean the

parts that will come into contact with food in the manner

described in the cleaning section.

• Some parts of the appliance have been lightly greased.

Consequently, the rst time the appliance is used a light

smoke may be detected. After a short time, this smoke

will disappear.

• Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish

to use:

USE

• Extend the supply cord completely before plugging it in.

• Connect the appliance to the mains.

• Put the slices of bread into the toaster, placing them into

the toaster slots.

• Use the selector knob to reach the desired toasting level.

• The toasting time depends on the type of bread (frozen,

dry or fresh) and on its thickness.

• Start the appliance by sliding the loading lever down until

a “click” is heard.

• The slice/slices will be automatically centred for a uniform

toasting.

• In order to minimize the generation of acrylamide during

the toasting process, avoid reaching dark brown colours

on the toasted bread.

• After the toasting process the appliance will turn off

automatically.

• The appliance has an extra lift function which allows a

more comfortable extraction of the toast. To do this, move

the loading lever upwards.

CANCEL FUNCTION

• The cancel function allows you to interrupt the use of the

appliance. Press the cancel button.

REHEAT FUNCTION

• The reheat function is used to reheat previously toasted

bread. Place the toast on the toaster, slide the load lever

down and press the reheat button.
